Job Role or Description
- Strong domain expertise on Indirect Taxes GST and Erstwhile VAT , Excise Duty , CST , Custom Duty etc including Exim policies .
- Keeping abreast of latest developments /judicial pronouncements in Indirect Tax laws .
- Sound knowledge on Income Tax .
- Tax Planning and formulating tax efficient process .
- Tax structuring and Bidding Inputs .
- Tax compliance in efficient and timely manner viz filing monthly & annual returns .
- Strong written communication and presentation skills – replying to notices , briefing consultants / counsels , handling assessment / audit hearings . Tax litigation assessments and Appeals .
- Good organisation skills – co ordinating with FC’s / CC’s , business , sites & tax departments.
- Through understanding of Policies , Processes & Applicable laws and its impact both on internal and external stake holders.
- Tech savvy and working knowledge of ERP / SAP .
