Job Role or Description

  • Managing the cash flow in and out of the store.
  • Adhering to policies and procedures to avoid theft and in appropriation of funds.
  • To maintain petty cash, cash book, Purchase Register, Bank Book.
  • Responsible for deposit of cash and cheques in the bank.
  • Closure of the cash / bank accounts on a monthly basis for the monthly closing purposes.
  • To ensure safety of all the accounting records and physical cash in the store & has adequate back up system.
  • Understanding the store operations and aligning his / her work to achieve highest level of efficiency.
  • Supervising the cashier for Petty cash Book & cash Payment.
  • Preparation of MIS on daily cash flow status.
  • To conduct surprise cash verification at the counters.
  • Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
  • Train new cashier, provide technical support, and help in back office work.
