Job Role or Description
- Partner with Marketing Managers to co-create Category P&Ls, collaborate with sales finance and PSO finance teams.
- Lead monthly discussion with category head & team with insightful analysis on brand performance Sales (value and volume), margins, relative market share etc.
- Provide critical inputs, challenges assumptions during AOP. Lead pricing decisions based on underlying cost movements and competition tracking.
- Prepare long-term financial forecasts for the category with inputs from critical functions such as sales, operations, marketing etc.
- Responsibility for helping category teams in NPD business case development through all stages of the Innovation process.
- Analyze and identify avenues for cost optimization/ revenue maximization and share with the marketing team; collaborate with them on specific initiatives being launched to improve topline / bottom line
- Provide analytical support to track marketing spend trend (ATL) and determine ROI; Recommend areas to focus on in ATL and BTL and work on framework for spend evaluation
