Job Description/Skills Required
- Primary responsibilities:
- 1. Preparing TDS liability working, remittance and eTDS return filing.
- 2. Coordinating with the business users, F&A & IT team, and Income Tax department personnel.
- 3. Identify and implement process improvements
- 4. Coordinate with the Internal & External Auditors & ensured no Audit Observations
- TDS Liability working & Remittance:
- 1. Download the ERP data, reconcile and tally with the GL balances.
- 2. Get approval from F&A team about the correctness of the working.
- 3. Initiate the remittances from the Net-banking portals.
- 4. Get it approved from the signatories and download the challans from the IT portal.
- 5. Prepare the monthly MIS and share the same to F&A team with the challan copies. 6. Ensure the ICFR controls on each activity.
- 7. Prepare the eTDS file for quarterly returns.
- 8. Filing the returns, downloading and disbursement of TDS certificates to locations / vendors.
- 9. Responding to the Demand notices of IT department with the necessary supporting / revised returns.
- 10. Preparing consolidated monthly MIS. Secondary: Process improvements, digitization projects and automation.
