Job Description/Skills Required
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the International and Domestic Direct Tax portfolio for Sterlite Power.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Helping to develop Direct Tax strategies.
- Tax planning to optimize the tax outflow and reduce Effective Tax rate.
- Drafting the Transfer pricing policy for the Group and handling transfer pricing assessment
- Handling the monthly compliances by BUs
- Filing quarterly and annual tax returns and Transfer Pricing documentation
- Handling the advance tax calculations and deposit of taxes by BUs
- Handle all business queries on TDS/ direct tax/ transfer pricing.
- Handling queries related to international taxation and impact of DTAA/ BEPS
- Review of agreements from tax perspective
- Handle assessments/appeals
