The Selectsys recruitment drive includes the following US Accounting positions:

1. Senior Business Accountant

Experience: 3–5 Years

The Senior Business Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations for US clients, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll support, AR/AP and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero or other accounting platforms.
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Process payroll entries and provide payroll support.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities.
• Perform month-end reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements.
• Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with established SOPs.
• Coordinate with the L1 Manager regarding reporting, clarifications and issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CA / EA / CMA / ICWA / IPCC / CPA background preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of QBO or Xero.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently during US night shifts.

2. L1 Manager – US Accounting

Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: CA / EA / CMA / CPA preferred

The L1 Manager – US Accounting will manage end-to-end accounting operations for assigned clients while leading the accounting team. The role includes client management, financial closing, team supervision, quality control and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete accounting activities for assigned US clients.
• Handle bookkeeping, payroll, AR/AP and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and support finalisation of financial statements.
• Provide audit support and coordinate income-tax-related requirements.
• Conduct client meetings and manage client communication.
• Act as the primary SPOC for assigned clients.
• Lead and manage the accounting team.
• Monitor team productivity, quality, accuracy and TAT.
• Review accounting work before submitting it to clients.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and client-specific SOPs.
• Identify process improvement and employee training requirements.
• Handle client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Use QuickBooks Online (QBO) extensively; certification is preferred.

L1 Manager – Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates should have:

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Confidence in client-facing discussions.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience handling SMB and enterprise-level clients.
• Ability to manage deadlines, priorities and escalations.
• Strong client relationship and coordination skills.
