- Select your state and electricity distribution company (DISCOM).
- Register using your consumer number, mobile number, and email address.
Step 2: Apply for rooftop solar
- After registration, log in using your consumer number and mobile number.
- Apply for a rooftop solar power system on the platform.
- Fill out the online application form, providing the necessary details.
Step 3: Wait for feasibility approval
- The DISCOM will assess your application for feasibility based on factors like roof space, sunlight availability, etc.
- Wait for the notification from the team for the feasibility approval.
Step 4: Install the solar system
- If approved, you can choose a vendor from the list of registered vendors provided by your DISCOM and install the solar system by the chosen vendor.
Step 5: Submit plant details and apply for a net meter
- After installation, submit details of the plant on the online platform and apply for a net meter installation through your DISCOM.
Step 6: Receive commissioning certificate and subsidy
- After successful installation and inspection by the DISCOM, you will receive a commissioning certificate through the online portal.
- Now, submit your bank account details and a canceled cheque to get the subsidy in your bank account. The subsidy amount will be transferred to your bank account within 30 days.
