Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to do Financial Planning, capital allocation and manage liquidity for the projects under the big bet. He/She will be providing support in serving the big bet by managing the allocation of funds, continuous funding, improving business opportunities through effective funding programs, and promoting the execution of meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic & functional leadership as part of the Capital Allocation team to
prepare annual business planning process and managing organizational cash flow.
• Work closely with Partnerships team for reporting and proposal planning.
• Ensuring donor funded project budgets are effectively managed including tracking
of expenditures and identifying and mitigating for any risk.
• Ensure timely preparation of annual operational and capital budgets, performing
revisions where appropriate: realistic budgets prepared with budget holders as the
basic guiding tool for the optimal use of resources.
Functional role • Monitor program support costs and ensure they are in line with agreed budget plans
& to ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively.• Good understanding of regulatory framework as applicable to the sector.
• Working closely with central shared services to fulfill organizations compliance
requirements
• Ability to read and interpret numerical reports and delve into base data as needed,
for better and deeper understanding.
• Guide the team on accounting challenges and take the responsibility to approve
expenses for large amounts swiftly but with due care and applying due diligence.
• Provide quality strategic insight and effective finance business partnering to key
stakeholders to drive quality financial and business outcomes.
Foster Stakeholders
• Support Accounting teams for proper revenue and liability recognition.
• Collaboration with Program and Ops team to support on project expenses.
Develop People • Ability to guide young professionals, including CAs in the team and still be able to
add value by bring in fresh perspective
- Manage and develop a team of managers, Asst managers and Executives who are
remotely operating from multiple locations
• Conduct Online sessions with all team members on MIS Dashboard. Guide the
financial scoring and compliance understanding of extended business team
members
• Building capacity of overall team to help build FY 2025 budgets - Essential Experience & Skills
• Minimum 10+ yrs of experience in managing Financial planning for large donor funded projects (50-100 Cr.)
• ICWA/CMA/CPA/CA would be preferred. Qualified MBA finance professionals working as Finance Planning
& analysts who wish to pursue their career in non-profit organization, also can apply.
• Experience in handling major donors & should have in-depth grant management skills
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory compliance like FCRA, CSR, GST, TAX laws.
• Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work
with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
