Job Description/Skills Required
- Interact with various process owners and external firm to ensure completion of required SOX activity, including
- Updates to process flow narratives and flow charts
- Tracking down PBC list provided by external Internal Audit Firm
- Documenting SOX testing status
- Maintaining the OneDrive and Audit Prodigy documentation
- Organize SOX Program, including weekly email updates to control owners and weekly status updates to the Steering Committee
- Timely follow up with process owners on remedial action(s)
- Support various activities throughout internal audit cycle, including planning, scope, work programs, fieldwork, wrap-up, and audit reports
- Support external firm by ensuring all documentation meets IIA and external auditor standards, including control documentation and test work over key SOX work, and reports/systems that support financial reporting
- Obtain, analyze and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency or performance of the activities being reviewed
- Interface with external application vendors to obtain relevant SOC reports, and work with external advisors to ensure the SOC reports meet our requirements
- Communicate with management to ensure remediation of previously identified SOX and audit findings and implementation of managements action plan(s).
- Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
