JOB DESCRIPTION :

- General Accounting Standards – Ledger , book keeping
- Prepare and file returns: Prepare and file GST returns , GST Filing
- Handle TDS : Ensure TDS is calculated, deducted, and paid accurately and on time. Handle
- Reconcile accounts: Reconcile vendor ledgers, accounts payable, and bank accounts.
- Perform financial analysis: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including adjusting entries. Support ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Vendor Payments , Invoice Processing , Payables , Receivables
- Stay updated: Stay up to date with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
Other tasks that may be included in the role of a general accountant with TDS and GST reconciliation responsibilities include:
- Preparing invoices and payment memos
- Preparing monthly expense reports
- Managing payables and receivables
- Managing day-to-day expense management
- Managing taxation matters related to business transactions
- Managing compliance matters related to business
- Preparing financial statements
