Larsen & Toubro(L&T) Hiring for Accountant / Accounts Executive

DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES:

Corporate Accounts Dept. is responsible for Financial and Performance Reporting of L&T standalone and Group. Other major activities include accounting of treasury transactions, borrowings, corporate assets, HO Dept revenue expenses, decision making support to Corp Strategy, Corp HR, Investor Relations etc

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Group financial reporting and analysis

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary:

Quarterly financial statements and analysis

Application of Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards)

Interaction with auditors, ICs

Secondary:

Exposure to Tax laws and Company law matters.

AREAS OF EXPOSURE/ WORK BACKGROUND:

Activities related preparation of financial statements, interaction with auditors, co-ordination with S&A companies, inter-company transaction accounting, application of accounting standards (Ind AS), use of consolidation software (Hyperion).

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

Good communication skills (written and verbal), good team player, adaptability, efficient time management, learners mindset

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: CA

NO. OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 4-5 years

COMPUTER SKILLS: MS Office – Excel, Word and Power Point
