Job description
Role and responsibilities-
- Indirect Tax – Managing GST compliances of the company
- Preparing GST workings on monthly basis, analyzing the Input Credits eligibility and finalizing eligible Input credits.
- Filing GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B returns on monthly basis
- Finalizing and making GST payments
- Making Output and Input reconciliations
- Filing Annual Returns GSTR 9 and 9C
- Ensuring all GST compliance on timely manner without any delays
- Addressing customer/ vendor queries on GST
- Assist other departments on GST compliances and addressing the queries in relation to GST
- Reconciling the GST credits claimed in GSTR 3B with the GSTR 2A and communicating the discrepancies to respective department on timely manner and keep follow up for reverts
- Making compliance report on month basis
- Handle GST Audits and Assessments on independently
- Visit Tax authorities as per requirement
- Draft replies to notices, appeals etc
- Keep team updated with tax updates
