Job Responsibilities
As a Credit Manager at ICICI Bank, your responsibilities will include:
- Business Loan Underwriting: Assessing creditworthiness and risk involved in business loan applications. You will evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and business plans to make informed lending decisions.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Reviewing and analyzing financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities in business loan portfolios.
- Loan Approvals: Making recommendations for loan approvals or rejections based on your analysis and in accordance with the bank’s policies and risk guidelines.
- Client Interaction: Engaging with clients to gather necessary financial information and understand their business needs, while ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring all underwriting processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- Freshers with a CA certification or candidates with 1-3 years of experience in credit management, finance, or underwriting are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
