Key Responsibilities of a Cost Accountant
1. Product Costing and Standard Cost Updates

3. Inventory Valuation and Cost Allocation
- Support monthly costing runs and inventory valuation.

- Ensure accurate cost allocation and absorption methodologies.
- Review inventory-related costing activities.
4. Costing Close and Financial Reporting
- Execute monthly, quarterly and annual costing close activities.
- Prepare manufacturing cost reports.
- Develop manufacturing KPI dashboards.
- Provide management reports and financial analysis.
5. Audit, Compliance and Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies.
- Maintain effective internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with costing and inventory audit requirements.
6. Collaboration and Team Development
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Controlling and Finance teams.
- Work with international stakeholders across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
- Resolve costing-related issues with operational teams.
- Support training and knowledge development of junior team members.
