Purpose of the Job:
- About the Department:
Claims (Claim Assessments) department conducts required assessments of the claims to determine its credibility. It includes conducting various assessments and performing quality checks on the processed data as per the regulatory norms in order to ensure efficiency of the departmental process.
- Purpose of the Role:
As an Associate Manager, the role involves monitoring data and creating reports for the assessments. It includes performing quality checks, ensuring adherence of the regulatory norms and coordinating with cross functional departments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Monitoring MIS activities to ensure smooth flow of the departmental process.
2) Sharing the required data with concerned stakeholders to ensure implementation of departmental activities.
3) Ensuring process completion as per pre-defined TAT and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
4) Handling communications with internal and external stakeholders as per the pre-defined guidelines.
5) Creating summary reports regarding verification of claims.
6) Managing cross functional departmental activities.
7) Maintaining and managing TPA data to ensure process completion.
8) Conducting quality checks and audit process to ensure regulatory norms are met.
9) Identifying the gaps and implementing changes for overall process improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Academic Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate
- Work Experience: 3 years’ experience in Insurance Industry.
