This role involves analyzing financial data, forecasting, and providing strategic insights to optimize financial performance. Through planning and analysis, FP&A professionals play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making and facilitating the achievement of organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with Ops heads to develop and maintain annual Forecast and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor forecast adherence and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain variances between budgeted and actual financial results. Recommend corrective actions, as necessary.
- Management Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management. Communicate financial insights clearly and concisely.
- Cost Management: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial information and analysis from various stakeholders within the organization.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelors degree in finance and accounting, MBAs, CA/CA Inter or CMA/CMA Inter.
- Relevant years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power-Point, and financial software (e.g., Oracle Workday).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
