Job Description
Position Title/Responsibility Level/Senior Associate
Function
Finance Operations
Reports to
Assistant Manager (Lead), General Accounting
Supervises
Permanent
Basic Function
Prepare reconciliations, journals and overhead analysis 
Prepare financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS)
Forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
Actively participate in close, pre-close and work towards meeting SLAs
Essential Functions
Participate in clarification and feedback calls with the client
Support the team by sharing the workload and assist in achieving the SLAs
Brain storm and come up with process improvement ideas
Undergo refresher trainings to stay in touch with the process knowledge
Undergo cross trainings to be the backup for other team members

Primary Internal Interactions 
With the Lead and Manager for the purpose of seeking feedback, clarifying concerns, seeking support and monthly evaluation of performance
Team members for the purpose of cross training and sharing the workload
Subject Matter Expert for the purpose of seeking assistance in handling exceptional scenarios
QCA for the purpose of receiving performance feedback, and enhancing process knowledge
Primary External Interactions
Skills
Client’s operations team for the purpose of clarifying queries, understanding expectations, getting inputs, etc.
Should have work experience in BPO in General Ledger team 
Should have good analytical skill
Good oral and written communication skills
Should have work experience in Reconciliation tool (preferably Blackline) 
 Should be good in MS Excel & ERP (Oracle & SAP)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.Com/ M.Com with 2-4 years, out of that minimum 2 years of experience in GL Reconciliation
