Jindal Steel & Power, one of India’s leading steel manufacturers, is actively seeking talented Chartered Accountants (CA) to join our team. Position: CA – Freshers & Experienced
Key Responsibilities:
1 Cost sheet: Maintain cost sheet summaries for Angul, Raigarh & barbil plants and update corresponding charts daily.
2- Vendor Financing Programme (VFS): Manage Vendor Financing System, including maintaining, renewing, and enhancing vendor portfolio limits within specified timelines, coordinating with the bank & vendors.
Conduct weekly meetings with Banks to track the status of prospective onboard vendors and enhancement cases.
Regularly monitored the overall portfolio and utilization limits of the VFS program, and promptly informed senior management for enhancement.
3- TOC Deck: Prepare a weekly TOC (IOMG & CMG) Deck and present it to seniors, including the CFO.
4- Monthly Activity – Contribute to monthly RAW Material Planning, analyze IOMG data, and prepare decks for seniors, including the CFO.
5- Board deck: Contribute to quarterly Board Meeting decks by analyzing IOMG and CMG Procurement and Consumption data, and preparing relevant presentations
6- RPT Approval: Follow up with the ASM team for RPT approval for releasing the payment
7- Reconciliation – Reconciliation for JSP Group Companies.
8- Overdue vendor. Follow up with the concerned person to reduce the overdue amount.
9- Other: Demurrage figure collected from respective plants and shared with FP&A Team for cash score file.
Address ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Freshers or professionals with relevant experience in finance, audit, or accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
