Warner Bros.looking for a skilled accounting professional to oversee general accounting activities and record-to-report functions for DTC/HBO APAC. This role includes managing programming, original production, content licensing, and reporting activities. You will handle general ledger stewardship, month-end close support, and review financial statements and disclosures.
Key Responsibilities
- R2R Accounting: Oversee daily accounting activities, including film cost recognition, content licensing revenue, intercompany transactions, and taxes for HBO APAC entities. Review and post journal entries, manage month-end close processes, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations and disclosures.
- Staff Development: Develop staff into mature financial advisors with a customer service orientation.
- Project Management: Drive continuous process improvements and automation, support global transformation projects like S4 migration, and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Essential: Accounting graduate with experience in a multi-currency Accounts Payable function, preferably in a shared service environment. Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel, strong communication and collaboration skills, and general knowledge of Media/News Broadcasting Sales.
- Desirable: Experience with online bank payments and electronic payments like ACH, CHATS/CHAPS, EFT.
