Job Description/Skills Required
- Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include:
- Preparing in a timely manner accurate financial reports and Pull weekly/monthly/quarterly finance data for FTEs, spend, open POs, and risks, collect data from Budget champions.
- Maintains accurate records of all financial transactions covering the activities investigate anomalies, track and evaluate finance spend trends, aggregate head count data.
- Ensuring that project expenditures are adequately tracked according to the agreed project budgets.
- Keeping relevant program staff informed of incoming and outgoing funds
- Providing other support, as requested, to programmers Finance and Administrative Coordinator, Head of programmers, and program staff in financial management of projects.
- Skills and attributes:
- Ability to organize work in order to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards.
- Ability to maintain and promote a positive working environment with a variety of partners.
- Competence in financial management systems.
- Strong time management and task coordination skills.
- Highly numerate and confident using Excel
- Strong team player, able to communicate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience drafting timely, accurate reports for internal and external accountability.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related majors.
- At least 3 years’ experience in project administration and finance.
- Excellent communicator, with superior oral and communication skills
- Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
