Job Description/Skills Required
• Hedging and trading: study different hedging strategies to cover price and credit risk. Suggest alternative risk mitigation methods or use of financial derivatives
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborating with various departments to develop budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and forecasted results, and recommending adjustments as necessary.
• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. This may include analysing financial statements, industry benchmarks, and market data to provide recommendations for investment decisions.
• Cost Analysis: Conducting cost analysis to identify areas where the company can reduce expenses and increase efficiency.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluating potential investments and conducting due diligence on potential acquisition targets or joint venture partners.
• Financial Modelling: Developing financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicating financial information and analysis to stakeholders, including executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders, in a clear and concise manner.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• 6 Months to 3 years of experience working in the Finance Domain
• B.com honors/ BBA/ MBA
• Preferably CFA Level 2
