Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage purchase operations, including procurement planning, vendor selection, and contract management.
- Develop new vendors through effective market research and negotiation skills.
- Conduct cost rationalization exercises to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Handle pressure situations with confidence and conviction when negotiating prices or terms.
- Plan and execute purchases efficiently using selling skills and marketing strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 0-5 years of experience in purchase management or related field.
- Strong communication skills for effective negotiation with vendors.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in cost reduction techniques such as costing analysis and pricing strategy development.
