Job Description/Skills Required
- In this role, you’ll be expected to work with vendors on negotiation of business terms (pricing, license grants, and usage) for all types of financial data the firm consumes. You’ll also manage contracts and work closely with our in-house counsel to execute data agreements with vendors for new product subscriptions and renewals. You’ll be required to work with global stock and derivative exchanges to track and decipher policy amendments and changes in commercial terms. You’ll have to liaise with the firm’s AP (Accounts Payable), MCA (Management Company Accounting), and ManR (Management Reporting) teams to resolve and approve disputed invoices and aid correct expense booking. Additionally, you’ll be expected to assist senior staff with vendor/exchange data audits with usage gathering and analysis. You’ll also be required to conduct thematic data research to identify interesting datasets and maintain our proprietary data catalog.
Who We’re Looking For
- Candidate should have a Masters’ degree in any stream with two to four years of professional experience.
- Candidate with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to internal users/teams, vendor account managers and product owners.
- The candidate should be self-motivated and meticulous, with exceptional organizational skills
