The MSS team is responsible for creating the systems, services, and process infrastructure for all Client businesses. Our teams mission is to be the backbone for Clients Business/Category teams, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth, and profitability. We own the Pricing, Catalog/Content, and Vendor Systems & Services that have automation, product, program, and operational components.The ideal candidate will provide a strong mix of project management and merchandising business operations background including but not limiting to daily operations management, process improvement, and data analysis. This skill set will be applied to product improvements and vendor request resolutions that ultimately influences the customer experience.
- Promptly manage and resolve customer issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA) with a customer first mindset, communicate effectively with external partners to ensure an optimal vendor experience.
- Learn quickly and understand current processes, proactively identify issues and inefficiencies, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders to improve efficiency reduce cycle time.
- Learn business processes and translate them to business requirements, user stories and system design to understand all facets related to development requests.
- Monitory and understand product performance, identify improvement areas, and facilitate the improvements with stakeholders.
- Autonomously complete tasks within the track owned for a given system.
- Provides project stakeholders information relevant to make/influence decisions that may improve quality of applications.
- Synthesize large quantities of complex data into usable/actionable information.
- Provide support to end users as priority when it impacts business or provide a Standard Operating Procedure manual for systems.
Required Qualification:
- BA in Economics/Finance, Business Management, Marketing, or Masters degree (preferably in General Management/Finance/ Tech Management).
- 0-3 years of experience in a business systems or merchandising analytics capacity as a subject-matter expert.
- Background in creating, managing to and improving metrics (KPI) using quantitative analysis.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft suite of office products.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with technical teams An entrepreneurial mindset and a driving passion to change, challenge, and improve current processes.
- Project Management Certification.
- Prior experience with ERP/CRM systems.
- E-commerce background is a plus
