Job Description/Skills Required
- Month end close activities including preparation of journal entries like (accruals, prepayments, and adjustments)
- Reconciliation of assigned accounts to source system and investigating the root cause of variance
- Fixed Assets register maintenance, accounting, depreciation run and closing
- Support in preparation of Annual notes for the inclusion in Audited Financial Statement to aid the Stakeholder and Senior management
- Support and execution of internal and external change requirements as necessary e.g. process improvements, system changes, control enhancements relating to area of responsibility
- Identify improvement area in the accounting process to apply automation
- Support of Internal and external audit requirements
- Skill set:
- Good Accounting knowledge Month End adjustment Journal entries
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP and banking functionality is an added advantage
- Good exposure of working on MS Excel and MS Power point. Must have prepared presentations to report KPI’s and variances
- Able to work and communicate effectively as part of a cross-geographic, cross-organizational and cross-cultural team
- Good team player and ability to work independently.
