Job Role or Description
This is a role with responsibilities for BFO functions performed in Asia. This role will primarily focus on the APAC markets and which includes products such as Loans, Credit Derivatives, IR Derivatives and FX Derivatives.
- You will perform analysis of the daily trading profit and loss by understanding trading strategies, risk profile, market conditions and accounting treatments
- You will provide commentaries on significant individual items (cluster and entity)
- You will review of booking, valuation and revenue recognition for structured trades
- Perform testing of new processes and procedures
- You will maintain the accuracy and integrity of the books and records
Bfo avp-vp:
Analytical Review of the Trading P&L and Balance Sheet Monthly/Quarterly Processes
- Member of a team responsible for performing Monthly/Quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, which includes Fair Value and other Disclosures, Multi-GAAP and IFRS journals, Provisions, Trading Book Eligibility Review, FROGS DNA mapping and Controls Database input/reconciliation
- Responsible for providing & managing Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet commentary and Inventory Aging Reporting and Analysis. Also responsible for ongoing or periodic processes such as Balance Sheet review, dormant book reviews, adhoc and other reporting
- Prepare and coordinate central reports within wider BC team such as weekly/monthly P&L commentaries, CDB GL reconciliation, FROGS GL reconciliation and other reporting.
- Works independently on issues with results and schedules set by others
