Job Description/Skills Required
- Transition Asset accounting process : work closely with the client to transition the process and document the process understanding by creating SOPs.
- Asset Master Data Management: Maintaining and updating asset master data in the ERP system,including asset class, location, and depreciation information.
- Asset Acquisition and Retirement: Recording and processing asset acquisitions, unitization,retirements, and disposals in the ERP system.
- Asset Depreciation: Setting up and maintaining depreciation areas and calculating depreciation for assets in the ERP system.
- Asset Reporting: Generating various reports related to assets, such as asset registers, depreciation reports, and asset utilization reports.
- Asset Reconciliation: Reconciling asset data between the ERP system and external systems, such as general ledger or financial reporting systems.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations related to assets, including those related to revenue recognition, lease accounting, and joint venture accounting.
- Capital Planning : Support capital planning process wherein organization resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to support company’s strategic goals.
