Job Description/Skills Required
- Take ownership for ongoing assurance activities and execution of governance controls e.g. EUCT inventory management, Issue Management progress commentary, G&O report package inventory
- Develop and execute an internal compliance and monitoring programme, working with BAU team members to ensure their controls are performing effectively and escalate accordingly when risks are identified.
- Act as a key point of contact for control-related matters impacting the EMEA Controller team
- Oversee management of control deficiencies within EMEA Controller team in line with firm protocols, including assessing, recommending and supporting remediation for all identified issues in line with agreed timelines.
- Involvement with projects and initiatives (which affect the regulatory reporting teams), ensuring key control principles are embedded in new processes and infrastructure
- Support the digital transformation agenda within the EMEA Controller function, ensuring that key control principles are embedded at the heart of automation and efficiency efforts
