Job Role or Description
- • The position in discussion is with the Other APJ GST practice at KPMG Global Services (KGS). The person would be working closely with KPMG member firms and would be serving global clients for Other APJ compliance. This role is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally. Job Requirements: . Computation / Preparation transaction tax workings and monthly filing of APJ GST / VAT (For Malaysia / New Zealand / Singapore or any of the APJ / EMEA region (Oman), etc. . Preparation and Monitoring GST / VAT Returns and proper claim of input tax credit VAT and GST refunds . Responding to Audits, notices, and litigations. . Reconciliations of Indirect Tax accounts of various APJ entities which requires clear understanding of accounting . Clear knowledge and understanding of Indirect tax laws and respective country compliance . Preparation of Revenue reconciliations between revenue as per books of accounts and GST revenue reported . Apply advanced knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, theories, and techniques in conducting activities supporting the development, monitoring and maintenance of indirect tax ledger accounts. . Performs special projects requiring research and analysis as requested for management decision-making
