Job Role or Description
- Deliver high quality Tag reviews in accordance with XBRL tagging rules and accounting concepts. Clearly and accurately document the observations noted and discrepancies identified during the tagging process. Stay informed of updates from ESMA and equivalent local jurisdictions in EU relevant to the understanding of client’s business. Develop in-depth understanding of tagging tools & XBRL taxonomies to enhance efficiencies and quality of tagged accounts. Obtain thorough understanding of the financial statements before applying tags and communicate potential issues to the client handlers. Collaborate with GDS and engagement team members to set goals and responsibilities. Deliver work in line with designated methodology, project plan or process in line with EY standards. Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with the engagement team. Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to engagement team requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with the team contacts. Where appropriate, challenge tagging process used in base-filings by the GDS team and attempt to enhance tagging quality. Compare efficiency of tagging process performed across different clients and suggest ideas for improvement. Develop GDS people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Contribute ideas/opinions to the engagement teams and listen/respond to other team members’ views.
