Orient Electric is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to join our team. This role is integral to our plant operations, focusing on financial planning, reporting, cost management, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within a manufacturing or plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Reporting: Prepare and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Cost Control & Management: Monitor cost expenditures, implement cost-saving initiatives, and support plant management with cost estimates.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes, manage the general ledger, and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, support audits, and maintain internal controls.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct physical counts, and analyze turnover and obsolescence.
- Support & Collaboration: Provide financial insights to plant management and participate in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in a financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
