Job Description/Skills Required
The job position (Section Head – Costing & MIS) is required to provide timely & accurate Costing/Management information thereby indicating the plants performance in comparison with its P&B nos. as well as that of previous years.
The job involves continuos study/review of the product costing process & its development having regards to the diversified activities being undertaken in the plant. Product Costing determines product mix decisions and is hence crucial.
Accounting Process Modification: Following various changes/modifications in accounting practices undertaken post merger & its subsequent integration, plant accounting has been undergoing significant accounting changes. Understanding of these changes & supervising its implementation is also a key responsibility of this position.
- Capex: Review of Capex Proposals, building IRR models after considering all possible cash flows.

- Bills Approval
- Income Tax Assessment, Tax Audit etc.
- Monthly Accounts
- 1) Ensure accounting Practices in line with Corporate Guidelines.

- 3) ALSIT Value entries.
- 4) SIC Reconciliation.
- 5) Meeting other off-line requirements of Corporate Consolidation.
- MIS1) Preparation of Cost Reports 2) Preparation of Estimated Plant Cost and Profitability 3) Cost Variance with P&B & LY & analyzing reasons for such variances. 4) Preparation of Presentation slides. 5) Meeting Cost related MIS needs of various operating departments. 6) MIS to National Sample Survey and other Govt.
