Job Description/Skills Required
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, vendor management, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely payments towards procurement of materials, services, taxes, loans, interest, etc., in the most effective and efficient manner, and in compliance with all statutory rules and regulations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure timely payment of invoices while optimizing working capital.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Continuously review and improve processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and system enhancements to streamline payable functions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements by implementing vendor management best practices.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance
- Implement Accounting policies, Internal Finance Control guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support the implementation of the MS Dynamics 365 ERP – Finance module with relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
