To promote digitalization, HDFC bank has launched a customized myApps application. It shall benefit the urban local bodies, housing societies, local clubs and gymkhanas, and religious institutions. It is initially launching mySociety, myClub, myPrayer, and myCity. They offer to book facilities/services online and enable digital payment & collections of fees, charges, dues, and donations. Institutions can customize their branding and content. It shall be free of cost to the institutions without any monthly subscription. In the name of institutions, one can publish their application on Google PlayStore or Apple AppStore. Members can pay monthly bills or fees and make an online booking for different facilities via myApps.

myApps shall be an assistance to the HDFC bank :

  1. to get easy access to reporting on payments, facilities booked by members, requests and complaints registered by users.
  2. to broadcast notices and engage with members on various events.
  3. To update their users with the latest announcements through this application.

The app can be customized in over 20 languages starting with Hindi and English. There are also no restrictions on the number of users. The bank is entering into areas beyond basic banking and also the B2B2C space. “The myApps suite of products will provide our institutional customers with convenience, flexibility and the extra digital edge they need to ensure they are enhancing their services and further the Digital India mission,” said Smita Bhagat, Country Head, Government & Institutional Business, Start-ups and E-Commerce, HDFC Bank. User data will be hosted on the institution’s server, which the bank will facilitate to ensure complete data privacy and security.

A mobile app to fulfill the needs of all clubs and their members e.g. booking of facilities, accommodation, event tickets, and payment of membership fees and additional charge.


A mobile app for religious institutions to engage with their communities enable online donations, meals, live feed, and special prayer services.


A mobile app to drive citizen engagement, offer citizen services at the click of a button, and facilitate seamless payment of dues like property tax and user charges.
