Lately, many complaints have been rising against the IT system of Goods & Service Tax (GST). Against this, the Finance Ministry has taken action against their service provider, Infosys. Ministry summoned Infosys to seek an explanation. They will be asked to explain as to why they have not yet resolved the technical issues of the GSTN system even though there is an constant reminder from ministry from last 4-5 months.
The problems faced by taxpayers include GSTN portal slowdown, login error or auto logout, non-delivery or delayed OTP, network error, Gateway timeout, open file error, GSTR-9C document not uploading, etc. It is expected to see major changes in technical area of GSTN system soon.
