Due to the COVID-19, The country is following the lockdown and social distancing measure to prevent the attack of the Coronavirus. All social gatherings are restricted and exams are also postponed.
Earlier, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed all the CA exams. Now, the exams are going to start at the end of the month of July 2020.
Furthermore, the ICAI has provided relaxation to the students of the Final examinations for completing their MCS and Advance ITT course through virtual mode. MCS and Advanced ITT are part of the CA curriculum, which is required to be completed before becoming a member of the ICAI.
Here are the eligible students to opt for virtual training:
- Students of the Final course exam (July, 2020 & November, 2020).
- Students who have passed Final Exam /result withheld (May, 2019 & November, 2019)

“In view of the ongoing spurt of COVID-19 virus pandemic and subsequent suspension of IT and Soft Skills Classes all across the country, the competent authority has decided that the students of Final course exam (July, 2020 & November, 2020) and the students who have passed the Final exam/result withheld (May,2019 & November,2019) as one time measure can undergo MCS and Advanced IT Course through Virtual Mode https://virtualmcs.icai.org as per the following:
The students who have partially undergone the Course shall be completing the balance hours of the Course though virtual mode. The students who are yet to start the course shall be undergoing the complete course.
The students who have already paid the fees for physical classes through the online portal www.icaionlineregistration.org need not pay fees again in virtual mode.
The portal for undergoing Virtual MCS/Adv.IT will be LIVE from 1st June 2020”.
